Leeann Minh Bui, MD is a 3rd-year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident physician (PGY-3) at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC), an affiliate of Stanford Health Care. Her journey has come full circle as she initially began her medical career at SCVMC, where she volunteered in their Labor and Delivery nearly a decade ago. It was during this time that she discovered her unwavering passion for medicine and developed a profound interest in women's health. She is honored to return to SCVMC to serve the women of Santa Clara County.

Prior to embarking on her medical journey, Dr. Bui distinguished herself academically at the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Integrative Biology. After graduating from UC Berkeley, Dr. Bui worked as a staff research associate at UC San Diego School of Medicine, an experience that laid the foundation for her future academic research pursuits.

Dr. Bui's medical degree was conferred by the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH), where she received multiple awards and scholarships, including the UWSMPH Merit Scholarship, Great People Scholarship, and the UWSMPH OB/GYN Department Scholarship. She also graduated from UWSMPH with a Path of Distinction in Research for her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) investigations throughout medical school.

Dr. Bui remains a dedicated researcher, focusing on PCOS and reproductive health disparities, which has resulted in multiple publications and conference presentations. Her commitment to the field of REI has been recognized with the Soceity of REI Resident Award for Excellence at both the program and the national level.

Dr. Bui continues to strive for meaningful contributions to women’s health through both compassionate patient care and impactful research.
